Welcome to the South Dakota Extension Master Gardener website!  

Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who assist the SD Cooperative Extension Service in providing yard and garden educational activities and information across the state. Over 1,100 South Dakotans have received Master Gardener training, and have returned over 66,000 reported hours service to the state.  If you want to learn more about plants and gardening and would enjoy sharing that knowledge, the Extension Master Gardener may be your ticket!
